Join Verde Holistic Wellness Studio for our most profound and intimate journey yet. In March 2027, we return to the lush, sacred lands of the Maya Riviera for a 7-day, 6-night immersion into the Divine Feminine.
A Note on Our Sacred Container: Because our curriculum and ancestral practices focus intimately on physical uterine healing, Yoni steaming, and Yam (abdominal) massage, this particular retreat is lovingly curated exclusively for women and individuals who possess a physical womb space.
Guided by Verde’s founder, Crystal Dorado, and featuring world-renowned elder and teacher Dr. Rosita Arvigo, this retreat is a deeply nourishing exploration of ancestral roots, womb wellness, and the duality of Ixchel—the Maya Goddess of the moon, medicine, water, and weaving.
Transitioning from the deep forest floors of our past retreats to the nurturing waters of the Caribbean, we have secured a private, pristine jungle sanctuary designed exclusively for healing. Together, we will experience traditional Copal blessings, deep self-care abdominal massage (Yam) training, Yoni steaming, Cenote spiritual bathing, and a powerful full-day pilgrimage across the waters to the ancient ruins of Ixchel’s temple in Cozumel.
This is not just a retreat; it is an initiation into profound self-care and nervous system regulation. Space is intentionally limited to preserve the sacred container of this work.

Dr Rosita Arvigo | Doctor of Naprapathy & Master Herbalist
Dr. Rosita is a legend in the world of traditional healing.. A Doctor of Naprapathy and master herbalist, she has dedicated her life to the preservation of ancestral healing knowledge. Her journey is defined by her historic 13-year apprenticeship with Don Elijio Panti, the renowned Maya Shaman of Belize, who passed his vast knowledge of medicinal plants and spiritual healing onto her before his passing. She also studied closely with Miss Hortense Robinson, a beloved Belizean herbal midwife.
Dr. Rosita is the founder of The Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy® and the Abdominal Therapy Collective. She established the Ix Chel Tropical Research Foundation in Belize to promote the use of traditional plants and prevent the destruction of the rainforest. She is the author of several acclaimed books, including Sastun: My Apprenticeship with a Maya Healer and Rainforest Home Remedies.
Crystal Dorado | Sacred Guide & Healer
Crystal is a visionary healer and the soul behind Verde Holistic Wellness Studio in Chicago. As an indigenous woman of color, Crystal’s path is deeply rooted in the ancestral wisdom of her lineage; she is the granddaughter of traditional Mexican curanderos and hierboleras (herbalists). Her grandfather served his community as a sobador and huesero (bone setter), while her grandmother cultivated the earth's medicine as a yerbera. These early initiations into the world of spirit and plant medicine sparked a lifelong dedication to the healing arts.
With over two decades of experience, Crystal has woven these inherited gifts with extensive formal training. She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher, Akashic Records Practitioner, Craniosacral Therapist, and a specialist in Womb Massage. Having honed her craft under the guidance of esteemed healers in Mexico, Guatemala, and Belize, Crystal bridges the gap between ancient Mesoamerican traditions and modern holistic wellness.
Your Sanctuary: Lunita Jungle Retreat
Your home for this week will be the enchanting Lunita Jungle Retreat, a private oasis nestled along the tranquil Ruta de los Cenotes. This purpose-built sanctuary is designed to never host more than one group at a time, providing a completely exclusive, undisturbed, and sacred container fully dedicated to our healing journey.
Accommodation: Beautiful eco-luxury casitas nestled within the jungle canopy, offering a genuine jungle immersion with modern comfort. Each casita features an en-suite bathroom, fresh linens, powerful cooling fans, windows equipped with mosquito nets, and a private furnished garden terrace surrounded by lush vegetation.
Nourishment: All delicious, "lean & clean" meals are prepared by on-site private chefs and served buffet-style in our spacious jungle restaurant. Expect a highly intentional menu highlighting fresh, local, and seasonal ingredients—featuring poultry and fish with an abundance of regional produce, alongside a 24/7 drinking water and tea station.
Amenities: Full access to Lunita’s stunning facilities, including a private outdoor pool, a covered relaxation area, and a functional jungle gym. At the heart of our work is the transparent octagonal meditation Shala—an intimate, open-air ceremonial space nestled beneath ancient trees, featuring pure drinking water sourced directly from an underground cenote.

6 Nights Accommodation: Exclusive access to our private, eco-luxury jungle sanctuary at Lunita Jungle Retreat.
All Nourishing Meals: Daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style at the dining palapa, strictly adhering to our "lean & clean" protocol (poultry, fish, and abundant seasonal, local produce).

Sacred Curriculum: All daily workshops, lectures, and somatic ceremonies led by Crystal Dorado and Dr. Rosita Arvigo in the private, transparent octagonal Shala.
Purification Excursion: Private transportation and entry to a local Cenote for sacred Spiritual Baths, followed by on-site Yoni Steams and an integration Sound Bath.
Ancestral Pilgrimage: Full-day guided journey to Cozumel Island, including ground transfers to the ferry, ferry crossing tickets, island transportation, and entry fees to the ancient ruins of Ixchel’s temple at San Gervasio.

Cancellation Policy: Due to the strict, exclusive booking terms of our jungle sanctuary, no refunds will be issued for any payments made after the 120-day point prior to the retreat start date. We strongly recommend all participants obtain personal travel insurance for peace of mind.
