Our Policies

Appointments & Arrival

Booking Your Session: We highly recommend booking appointments in advance due to high demand. You can schedule online, by phone, text, or email. A credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

Deposits and Payments: All service appointments require a non-refundable $50 deposit at booking. Classes and workshops require full payment at the time of booking.

Intake Forms: Please complete our digital intake form(s) prior to your appointment.

Arriving on Time: We kindly ask you to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to ensure you receive the full service time.

Appointment Considerations

Respecting Our Time: The length of your service is determined by your arrival time. Late arrivals will not receive an extension and will be charged for the full booked duration. If you are late and want the full service, you may reschedule but a fee may apply.

Modifications/Cancellations: We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to modify or cancel any reservation without incurring a penalty. Changes made within 48 hours of the appointment start time will result in a fee.

Credit Card Requirement: A valid credit card is required to book all reservations, including those made with gift cards or vouchers.

No-Shows: Guests who miss their appointment without any notification will be considered a "No-Show" and will be charged the full fee of the service.

Pregnancy

Prenatal Care: We offer specialized treatments for expectant mothers. Please inform us of your pregnancy at booking. Massage therapy is not recommended during the first trimester.

Payment & Refunds

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash and all major credit cards. Sales tax will be added where applicable.

Gift Cards and Vouchers: Mention any gift cards, vouchers, or certificates at booking. Services must be booked before the expiration date. Expired vouchers will be honored for the purchase amount towards any service. Policies apply to all discounted vouchers.

Non-Refundable Services: Services, series packages, gift certificates, and gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable. Replacement for gift certificates or gift cards is only possible with proof of purchase.

Product Returns: Unused and undamaged products may be returned within 14 days of purchase for in-store credit issued in the form of a gift certificate.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age: Guests must be at least 18 years old for services. Minors may receive services with parental consent and a parent or legal guardian present throughout the appointment.

Pricing

Prices are subject to change without notice. We strive to keep our pricing information current on our website.

State Mandated Posting

State law prohibits soliciting another for the purpose of a sexual act. Solicitation can be punishable as a Class 4 felony, subjecting an offender to fines and imprisonment, and impoundment of any vehicle used by the offender to commit the offense. We immediately report all offers or requests to buy sexual services to law enforcement.

Privacy Policy

Protecting Your Information: Verde respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect: We collect information you provide during booking or application, such as name, contact details, and health history as applicable. Mobile opt-in data will not be shared with third parties.

Use of Information: We use your information to provide services, process payments, and send appointment reminders. We may also use it for marketing purposes, but only with your consent.

Data Security: We take steps to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Your Choices: You can access, update, or delete your information by contacting us. You can also opt-out of marketing communications.

Agreement to Terms

By booking any service, purchasing any product, or utilizing the facilities and services of Verde Holistic Wellness Studio, the guest/client acknowledges, represents, and warrants that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms and conditions set forth in these Policies and the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Verde Holistic Wellness Studio and its practitioners are committed to providing professional, therapeutic, and holistic services. However, by booking a service, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Verde Holistic Wellness Studio (including its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

2. Health Disclaimer: Our services are intended for relaxation, wellness, and self-care and are not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis, or treatment. Guests are responsible for consulting a qualified health professional for any medical conditions. Verde Holistic Wellness Studio is not liable for any health issues arising from or related to the services provided.

Disclaimers of Warranties

The services and products provided by Verde Holistic Wellness Studio are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Verde Holistic Wellness Studio and its owners, directors, officers, employees, and agents, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the services; (ii) your violation of any term of these Policies; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

Intellectual Property Rights

1. Studio Content: All content on the Verde Holistic Wellness Studio website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, ritual descriptions, digital downloads, and data compilations, is the property of Verde Holistic Wellness Studio or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

2. Restrictions: The content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, published, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any way without the prior written permission of Verde Holistic Wellness Studio.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

1. Governing Law: These Policies shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

2. Dispute Resolution: In the event of any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to these Policies or the services provided, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through informal negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within thirty (30) days of the start of the negotiation, the parties agree to resolve the dispute exclusively through binding arbitration in Chicago, Illinois, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party in any legal action or arbitration will be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
